4th Annual Finishing the Fight 5k Run/Walk will be held at Blakely Borough Recreational Complex, Peckville, on Saturday, June 7th.  Registration is 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. and race begins at 11:00 a.m.  Registration is $20.  Medals will be given to the top three runners, male and female separately, in five age categories.  In addition to the run/walk, you can also try your luck at the basket raffles.

If you have a deployed loved one you are encouraged to come to the run/walk on June 7th with the name, address, and a list of your loved ones favorite snacks and special items, to be put on the monthly packaging list.
There will also be a donation box at the run/walk registration table for anyone wishing to donate items to be placed in the care packages. Finishing The Fight volunteers will be sending the 4th of July to the men and women who cannot be home to celebrate the holiday with their families and are asking for donations of refreshing and fun items such as water balloons, water pistols, etc., as well as patriotic decorations and noisemakers.

Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, to date approximately 750 "Love From Home" care packages have been sent to Afghanistan, Kuwait, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Japan.

If you would like to make a monetary donation, or a basket donation, you are encouraged to contact Angel Lubeck at 570-614-6341 or send an email through FinishingTheFight.com or the facebook page.

100% OF ALL FUNDS RAISED ARE USED TO PURCHASE AND SEND "LOVE FROM HOME" TO OUR DEPLOYED MEN AND WOMEN. You can find more information such as the course map and registration information at www.FinishingTheFight.com or on the Finishing The Fight facebook page.
