Crews Battle Fierce Fire at Schuylkill County Turkey Farm

The fire broke out Wednesday night around 11:30 in Walker Township at Koch's Turkey Farm.
Walker Township, Schuylkill County- Firefighters battled flames shooting 40 feet into the air after a propane tank fire at a Schuylkill County Turkey Farm.
     The fire broke out Wednesday night around 11:30 in Walker Township at Koch's Turkey Farm.
     A one-thousand pound propane tank caught fire at the site on Valley Road.
     Crews used unmanned water devices to cool down four other tanks and prevent those from also exploding in flames.
Dave Duffy, Walker Twp. Fire Chief told Eyewitness News "We're trying to do this as safe as possible, keep our personnel back, and use unmanned devices."
  Firefighters contained the fire just before 2 a-m and confined the fire damage to just the one tank.
  No one was hurt.
  The cause of this Schuylkill County Fire is under investigation.
