Jim Thorpe, Carbon County-      Officials in the Jim Thorpe Area School District have reached a two year tentative agreement with the youth services agency that oversees Camp Adams.
Camp Adams houses juvenile defenders  and was on the verge of closing.
The new agreement will keep the school open at Camp Adams  and limit how many youngsters from Camp Adams will attend school in the district.
A committee from the district will assess which youngsters will stay at Camp Adams and who attend class in the district.
Evaluations are based on the students education records.
