Bloomsburg University’s Student Accounting Association is providing free tax help to low- to moderate-income individuals and families from Columbia and Montour counties through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Help will be available from 4 to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from Feb. 10 to April 9 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 130 W. Third St., Bloomsburg. - The Bloomsburg University Players will perform plays from "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind" in their February Festival: 30 Plays in 60 Minutes. The show runs from Thursday to Saturday, Feb. 13 to Feb. 15, and continues on Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 19 and. 20. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Alvina Krause Theater, 226 Center St., in downtown Bloomsburg. Tickets are free to BU students, $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and students from other schools. Advance tickets are available at the Haas Box Office, at 570-389-4340. - Quest, a leadership development program at Bloomsburg University, is offering kayak pool sessions at 8 p.m. Tuesdays from Feb. 11 to March 11 in Nelson Field House. The sessions are free for BU students and $5 for the public. For information, contact Quest at 570-389-4323 or quest@bloomu.edu.
