Bernie's Run- The Tradition Continues

A Fourth of July tradition hits the streets of Wilkes-Barre, bright and early.
Hundreds of adults and children filled the streets of Wilkes-Barre this morning for an annual 4th of July tradition, promoting heart health awareness.
His name was Bernie Hargadon and his dream was to create an achievable race for everyone on the day of our Nation's Independence.
Sadly, Bernie passed away suddenly from a heart attack , but today his dream lives on.
Jasmine Brooks spent sometime with Bernie's family who are keeping the tradition of his run.  They are also promoting heart health.
Members of Bernie's Family joined Jasmine on Eyewitness News Daybreak.
