Washington, DC- Twenty thousand people are expected tonight at the law enforcement officer's memorial for a candle light vigil. The memorial begins at 8 pm in Washington D.C.
  This afternoon- crews made final preparations for the event that will honor 286 officers killed in the line of duty.
  One hundred officers died last year.
  This ceremony is just one of several events taking place throughout the week honoring the sacrifices officers make.
