Central PA Chamber of Commerce’s Business & Education Association Computer Program

MePush began the program MeGive in 2008, with the goal of recycling computers and redeploying them to those in need across Central PA.
Computers have proven to be valuable tools, and they are now even more accessible to low-income families, senior citizens, childcare facilities, not-for-profit organizations and start up businesses.
A partnership between the Central PA Chamber of Commerce’s Business & Education Association and computer and network service provider MePush, Inc. will allow individuals and organizations to go through a simple application process to see if they qualify for a refurbished computer and equipment. Computers will then be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
MePush began the program MeGive in 2008, with the goal of recycling computers and redeploying them to those in need across Central PA. Since then, hundreds of families, businesses and not-for-profit organizations have been assisted.
Some of the placements were facilitated by the Central PA Chamber of Commerce. This new partnership allows MePush to continue its mission while the Central PA Business & Education Association administers it.
To apply for a computer and/or related equipment, applicants should visit www.centralpachamber.com, and select “MeGive Apply Now” on the drop-down menu under the Business & Education tab.
The Business & Education Association has formed a committee to review the requests and determinations will be made.
MePush will be accepting computer donations at its locations in Lewisburg and Bloomsburg. In the future, the Central PA Chamber of Commerce will host computer recycling events to help replenish the supply of refurbished computers and promote the MeGive program.
