Scranton, Lackawanna County - You know we are in the holiday season when the lights go on at Nay Aug Park in Scranton. Power to the annual display was turned on at 5:00 Friday evening. It features a beautiful array of lights and holiday scenes that you can enjoy while driving through the park. The Mayor of the Electric City lit the display for the season. "People come back every year because it is beautiful. It brings families together. When you see the cars come through it's not just one person in a car, it's a car full of people and that is how we know over 200,000 people will come through this light show this year," says Mayor Chris Doherty. There's no cost to drive through the park, but donations are accepted. The lights will be on every night throughout the holidays.
