Benefits Planned for Dr. Sidari Scholarship Fund

Event held to raise money for scholarship.
Pittston, Luzerne County- On Saturday, a number of people gathered for the first annual  “Hope Is Contagious” benefit and bike run at Cooper's  Waterfront.  The event was a fundraiser  for the Dr. Jennifer Sidari Memorial Scholarship fund.  Doctor Sidar died unexpectedly in May.  The scholarship will benefit a student at the  attending the Commonwealth Medical College .


A fundraiser is also being planned for Thursday, August 8th  Damenti's Restaurant in Mountain Top. The event will run from  5 to 9 pm 

Two Benefits are planned for Dr. Jennifer Sidari Memorial Scholarship Fund
A bike ride will be held on Saturday, August 3, at Cooper’s Waterfront in Pittston at 10am. The  bike ride will begin at 11am and end at Cooper’s Cabana. Benefit will follow starting at 12 noon till 2pm which will include live entertainment, children’s activities, Chinese auction, 50/50 raffle.  Proceeds will benefit
 The Jennifer A. Sidari, M.D. Commonwealth Medical College Scholarship, in efforts to keep her legacy alive and offer to help a student that shows the desire to help others and is going into the medical field. The bike ride will be held yearly and will be recognized as the “Hope Is Contagious” benefit

Doctor Sidari died unexpectedly in May, her family and friends are hosting the benefits.
