Because Wishes Work

Refer A Child in Honor of Child Awareness Month to the Make a Wish Foundation!
September is the month of the child. Bring joy
to one living with a life-threatening medical condition today by referring him/her
to Make-A-Wish®.
Making a referral takes only a few minutes, but the impact of a wish is longlasting.
According to a national survey of the Make-A-Wish community –
including health care professionals, wish families and volunteers – a wish
experience can actually:
Influence a wish child’s physical health
Mark a turning point in the child’s response to treatment
Provide the child with an increased feeling of happiness and a
willingness to comply with treatment protocols.

To learn how to refer a child, between the ages of 2 ½ and 18, please call us at
570.341.9474 or log onto wishgreaterpawv.wish.org.
