Scranton, Lackawanna County- One person is arrested in connection with a deadly
crash last October that killed a Good Samaritan

31-year-old Mary Timko of Simpson was arrested in connection with the deadly crash.
State Police say a combination of alcohol, drugs and texting may have all played a role in the wreck.
Timko said nothing as she was just led out of the State Police Barracks in Dunmore.
On October 12th,  troopers say the "Ford Escape" driven by Timko hit two other vehicles that had parked along the Casey Highway near the Mayfield exit in the Westbound Lanes.
Investigators say Richard Cummings of Scranton was the driver of one of those cars.
    He was hit and killed.
Troopers say Cummings had stopped to help the people in the other car who had a flat tire.
Through the course of their investigation  Troopers found that one minute before the crash Timko had sent a text message from her cell phone and there was also an unsent text message on her phone.
Troopers also say her blood alcohol content was "point-one-two" which is over the legal limit and there was a combination of different drugs in her system.  Those drugs included oxycodone  and amphetamine
