Annual Woolly Worm Festival

You’ll see a team of highly skilled worm readers’ measure, weigh and analyze the little furry creatures in an attempt to predict the upcoming winter.
You’re invited to be a part of the 17th Annual Woolly Worm Festival, October 12th at Hufnagle Park in Lewisburg.
At 9:30, things will kick off with music from the hometown Green Dragon marching band and conclude with the winter weather prognostication at 4:00 by our own panel of experts, with M.C. and festival founder Mike Glazer at the helm.
You’ll see a team of highly skilled worm readers’ measure, weigh and analyze the little furry creatures in an attempt to predict the upcoming winter.  These little guys are to winter as Punxsutawney Phil is to the spring!
There will be food, Woolly Worm races, crafts, games, live music, face painters, a magic show, a petting zoo and even PONY RIDES!  This is an event full of fall fun for the young and the young at heart!

This event is coordinated by the Kiwanis Club of Buffalo Valley AM in Lewisburg and proceeds are used to benefit the charities supported by our club throughout the Susquehanna Valley.
