Tickets will be available at the door for  the 6th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton event. An area schools decorating contest will be held at the event, being held, this Sunday, October 20th from 12 noon to 3 pm at the Hazleton Health & Wellness Center located at 50 Moisey Drive in Hazleton.

The apron decorating contest is sponsored by CTC  Manufacturing, Inc. Area high school art departments including Hazleton Area
High School, Immanuel Christian School, Marian High School, MMI Preparatory School and Weatherly Area High School are all participating in the contest, by each creating a “one of a kind” apron based around the annual tastes event.
Attendees will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite apron, which will, in turn, give them an opportunity for an extra door prize chance. The school who receives the most votes will win a $100 cash prize for their art department, the second place school will receive $50 and third place will receive $25.
