2013 Flu Vaccine Clinic Schedule

Wilkes-Barre City Health Department has announced their 2013 flu vaccine clinic schedule
Flu season is fast approaching. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports between 5%-20% of the population gets the flu and more than 200,000 people are hospitalized from flu related complications. The best protection from seasonal influenza viruses is to get a flu shot.
 
The Wilkes-Barre City Health Department has announced their 2013 flu vaccine clinic schedule. Flu vaccine clinics are free and available to Wilkes-Barre City residents only. Individuals interested in getting a flu shot must provide proof of residency.
 
All flu vaccine clinics will take place at the Kirby Health Center, located at 71 North Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre. The following schedule has been announced:
 
Drive-Thru Dates:
 
  • Friday, September 27, 5-7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 28, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
 
Walk-In Dates:
 

  • Thursday, October 3, 4:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Monday, October 7, 1-4 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 8, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • Thursday, October 17, 3-7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, October 22, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • Monday, October 28, 1-4 p.m.
