One community in Susquehanna County is getting closer to making the switch to natural gas.
Susquehanna County- Right now, no one in New Milford is able to hook up to natural gas.
  But that could change.
Roger Stonier is one of more than a hundred people who turned out to learn more about a proposed pipeline.
Council members in New Milford are working with Leatherstocking Gas Company to bring the pipeline to their community.
They call it local gas for local people.
The pipeline would run from Sutton Road into the borough of New Milford.
The company said they needed at least 180 customers to sign up for natural gas service -- and they've already hit that mark.
Officials with Leatherstocking say they hope to start building the pipeline by Spring 2015.
