Wilkes-Barre Attack Suspect Captured

Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County- A man wanted in connection with a machete attack in Wilkes-Barre is now in custody.

Eyewitness News first told you last night about the bloody August 1st assault at Sherman Hills Apartment Complex.

Two men were injured with a machete type knife during a fight.

One of them, Jose Hernandez, 28 of Wilkes-Barre, fled the hospital during treatment.

Hernandez was captured on August 2nd at The Travelodge on Kidder Street.

Yhe other man injured with the machete suffered a severe neck laceration and was last reported in critical condition, following the attack in wilkes-barre.
