$1 million worth of pot found in cars at Ohio dealerships

Police searching for those responsible

Authorities are trying to get to the bottom of how $1 million worth of marijuana ended up in several Ford Fusions at Ohio car dealerships.

The cars, built at a Ford plant in Mexico, were distributed to a handful of Ohio dealerships where packages were found in the shape of half-moons and placed into the wheel wells for the vehicles’ spare tires.

When all was said and done, the drugs were found in 15 cars in four counties in Ohio, and a few even made their way to Pennsylvania.

Investigators are now trying to uncover where the supply line for the marijuana began and who was supposed to be responsible for retrieving it.
