Sources close to the case tell the I-Team the person of  interest and his girlfriend were kicked out of Laflin home in June. They were arrested at a home today in Wilkes-Barre.

"My door got busted in the came busting in. It was crazy!"

That's how Kyle Gilroy descried the police raid on his home on Hillside Street in Wilkes-Barre overnight.

Troopers were looking for, 26 year old Preston  Bonnet,  a man we are told is the person of interest in the fire that killed 16 -year -old Erik DuPree and his 12 -year -old brother Devon Major. An 8 -year- old boy was critically injured in the fire.

Flames broke out at their home on Oakwood Drive in Laflin at around 7 Wednesday night.... according to court documents Bonnet and his girlfriend Tyla Griffin had stayed at the Laflin home for several days  in June.

The owner of the home, Susan Major, allowed  Griffin and a dog  to stay in her basement. But, according to court papers- when Griffin  moved in Bonnett along with another dog, Major asked them to leave.. Its then, court documents indicate, that Bonnett and Griffin had a violent argument with Major.

Griffin allegedly smashed the front window of the home  and Major called State Police.

Troopers say they found a machine  owned by Bonnett and Griffin to make fake credit cards... Gilroy says Bonnett reached out to him on Craiglsit looking for a place to rent.

"They were here they lived here and paid a little bit of rent ever month that was it until what happened last night."

Gilroy told the I-Team that Bonnett went out Wednesday night about 6 pm and returned at about 8..

" He just walked in and asked why we never lock the door and he went upstairs." said Gilroy.

State Troopers searched the home for evidence and the S.P.C.A. removed the dogs owned by Bonnett..

Gilroy's father says he had concerns about Bonnett.

"I have noi idea what this guy did but i knew he was a troublemaker right from Jump street."
The Investigation is continuing.
