Traffic Concerns Across the Region

Traffic Updates at Noon-  Interstate 81 traffic woes continue Tuesday.   
  PennDOT's cameras show a  major backups  on I-81 North from the Wilkes-Barre Exit to Dupont- Pittston Exit.
    Traffic is down to one lane as PennDOT is lays a series of beams in place on the bridge that crosses Route 3-15.
     The work will continue until 2 pm this afternoon
    This work is part of a nearly 28 million dollar bridge replacement project.

Part of Pierce Street in Kingston is closed for emergency repairs again Tuesday.
         The section between Wyoming and Rutter Avenues is closed.
         Ridge avenue is also closed.
         Kingston Borough officials say they're fixing a hole in the roadway caused by a faulty water line.

Route 29 in Hanover Township is open again after being closed for a short time.
  Emergency officials feared a truck was leaking propane.
  Turns out it was liquid asphalt and is not hazardous, again Route 29 has reopened.
