POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE-WYOU-TV) A Schuylkill County family can keep their pet pig-- for now. On Monday night the Pottsville City Council tabled an ordinance that would allow people to have miniature pigs as pets.
The issue came about when Pottsville resident Scott Horning brought one home not realizing it wasn't allowed.
Now he's working to get the city council to pass the ordinance to allow the pigs.
He will now have to wait another month to see if it passes.
