Parkland Hospital in Dallas Texas made history as the place where doctors worked unsuccessfully to save a severely wounded President Kennedy and less than 48 hours later, his accused assassin Lee Harvey Oswald.  Today Parkland hospital has a memorial wall dedicated to the president, and has marked the place where Kennedy was treated with a plaque. The room is now a radiology waiting room.
