Substitute teacher accused of sexually assaulting a student

A substitute teacher is accused of sexually assaulting a student.

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOUTV)--State police tell Eyewitness News a substitue teacher in the Tamaqua Area School District is accused of sexually assaulting a student.

Whitney Roberts, 25, who now lives in New Hampshire, is accused in the assault. 

Investigators say it happened in November.

Police say a 17-year-old boy who was a student at the time is the victim. 

Roberts is facing several charges but now she is free on $10,000 bail.
