Recall: Ford SUV Recall

(WBRE/WYOU-TV)  Ford is recalling more than a million Explorer SUV's due to possible Carbon Monoxide Leaks.

Ford is offering a free repair for customers.

Ford previously offered free repairs for the law-enforcement version of the Explorer.

But now, the offer goes to about 1.4 million Explorers in North America.

The automakers says the repairs are for "Peace of Mind"

Ford also says the Explorers have no defect and are safe.

But some drivers have complained of nausea, headaches and losing consciousness.

Customers can take their 2011 to 2017 Explorer to any Ford dealer for the repairs from November 1 through December 31st.
