PSP releases sketch of serial bank robber in NEPA area

Robber has hit 12 banks

DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) - The Pennsylvania State Police released a composite sketch Friday of a man they think is responsible for at least 12 bank robberies in four counties across northeast Pennsylvania.

The sketch was made based information from an eye witness to a robbery June 8th in Archbald Borough, Lackawanna County.

The robberies began in December of 2015 and have occurred in Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wayne and Monroe Counties.

The suspect is described as a white male, believed to be over 30 years old, about six feet tall and with a medium build.

The FBI is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Additionally, the Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest.
