PSP dedicates new Stroudsburg Barracks

Moves from Swiftwater to Stroudsburg

STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) - The Pennsylvania State Police formally dedicated its new barracks in Stroudsburg Tuesday morning.

PSP Swiftwater formally closed for business on June 1st, and the unit now moves to its new headquarters and acquires a new name - PSP Stroudsburg.

The new building is larger than the old one and has the latest technology to allow Troopers to do their job.

The new station is located at 2730 Rimrock Drive in Stroudsburg.
