"I was over there when I heard the boom," Guerrero said as she surveyed the damage in her home. "I looked over here and the mirror was in pieces on the floor."
An SUV came barreling into home on the 500 block of West Chapel Street.
"The first moment was very bad because you don't know what happened," Guerrero said.
Pictures from the Hazleton Fire Department show the damage to the SUV.
The inside of Guerrero's house only has a small chunk missing. She said the whole incident has shaken her up.
"I (didn't) sleep," she told Eyewitness News. "All the night I (didn't) sleep!"
The outside of Guerrero's house is damaged the most.
Stan Morris, who lives a few blocks away, said his wife even heard the crash.
"I woke up with her saying 'Wow! Look at that! I heard something!'," he recalled. "Then I heard the sirens coming. I jumped up and looked out the window and saw the blinking lights appear."
There is a four inch crack that runs from the top of Guerrero's house to the bottom. Although the damage appears bad firefighters said it's mostly cosmetic and the house is still safe.
The driver of the SUV fled from the scene on foot.
Morris said it's fortunate no one was hurt either inside the house or outside of it.
"Whoever did it, I'm telling you now, you need to be caught," he said.
Firefighters have said the bricks on Guerrero's house will need to be torn down.
If you have any information about the crash, or where there driver is located, you're asked to call police.
