Pipeline Rupture Update

LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) Clean up is still in full force in Lycoming County in the areas hit by flooding exactly one week ago.

A Sunoco pipeline, which delivers fuel to western New York cracked last week as a bridge gave way.

It leaked 55-thousand gallons of fuel into trout run, and Loyalsock Creek.

But Sunoco officials are optimistic about any lasting damage.

A spokesperson says they've been testing the water since that leak happened and haven't found any serious issue except an odor.

Meanwhile, people in the community are doing what they can to help the flood victims.
The volunteer fire company says they will continue passing out donated goods to the flood victims until life returns to normal
