Edwardsville, Luzerne County - More than a billion usernames and passwords are now in the hands of Russian hackers.  They are believed to have information from more than 420,000 websites, large and small.  That information could be yours.

Senior engineer & owner of Evolutionary Computers Spencer Rappaport says to keep your personal information safe you better get typing, "ways to avoid this is to be proactive with your passwords.  If you are a business, a small business, or even a home you want to rotate your passwords on a set schedule.  90 days has become the norm, I'll do 40 or 35 with some of our accounts."

Rappaport also says make that password complex and don't just think computers either; your phone could be compromised as well.  Many people have apps they stay logged into out of convenience, but he says if you do that, you're just asking to get hacked.

If you do find that you have been hacked, contact your local law enforcement.
