Partial I-476 closure in Lackawanna County Saturday

Closure northbound from Keyser Ave to Clarks Summit

CLARKS SUMMIT, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) - The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission says it will close a portion of I-476 in Lackawanna County overnight this weekend.

The northbound lanes from Keyser Avenue Interchange (Exit 122) and Clarks Summit Interchange (Exit 131) will be closed from 11 pm Saturday night to 7 am Sunday morning.

The closure is due to keeping crews safe while they perform some bridge work at milepost A130.23 in Lackawanna County.

State police and Turnpike personnel will be placed at the two interchanges to help drivers with detour information, and several message signs will also provide detour information.
