Northeast Sight Services is the topic of this Sunday’s Newsmakers.
Jayne Ann Bugda and Andy Mehalshick host the monthly public affair program.
They will have as their guests Sara Peperno, President/CEO, Kristen Boyle, Vision Resource Manager, and Board Member, Mary Trainor.
This is the agency’s 100th anniversary in our community. Northeast Sight Services is a non-profit organization that serves Northeast Pennsylvania, including Luzerne, Wyoming, Wayne, and Pike Counties.
The Panel will discuss the many programs, services and screenings offered by the agency for the entire community.
The discussion will focus on the new Resource Center and the many programs designed for youngsters who are sight impaired.
Programs for seniors and all community members will be discussed.

The Marilyn Moore Maslow Vision Resource Center ensures that individuals have access to affordable basic eye care and prescription eyeglasses.
