Newsmakers to Air Sunday, September 19; Topic: Bullying

  Bullying will be the topic of this Sunday?s Newsmakers program on WBRE-TV. 

   The program is hosted by

 Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and Lead I-Team Reporter Andy Mehalshick.

    They will have as they guests Gary F. Smith, who is a  

Parent Coach and Executive Director of the Education Consultants of NEPA and Gary Mack a Wyoming Valley West Middle School Educator, and Faculty Program Coordinator CRAFT & TOPS program.

          The panel will take a close look at the serious and growing problem of Bullying.  They will also talk about how the internet and cell phones have given bullies new weapons.   Recognizing the signs of a child who is the target of a bully will also be discussed.  Mack and Smith will also talk about what a parent can do if their child is the bully.

     Newsmakers will air Sunday, September 19 on WBRE TV at 5:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.  The program will re-broadcast on WBRE TV on Sunday, September 26th at 5:30 a.m.   The show will also air on Saturday, September 25 at 6 a.m.
