Building a Community to Conquer Opioid Addiction will be the topic of Newsmakers on Sunday, November 12th.   

Jayne Ann Bugda and Andy Mehalshick host the public affairs program.

Bugda and Mehalshick will have as their guests,  Luzerne County District Attorney, Stephanie Salavantis,  Jason Harlen, CEO Wyoming Valley Alcohol and Drug Services and Amber Loomis of the Family  Service Association of NEPA.   

The panel will discuss the growing opioid problem in our communities and how we can take action as a community to conquer the problem of addiction. They will also discuss the impact addiction has on families.

 The program will also focus on the upcoming Family Service Association Conference which will take a close look at the opioid epidemic in our communities. 

 Newsmakers airs Sunday, November 12 at 6:30 am on WYOU and at 11:30 am on WBRE.
