New Director Named at "My Father's House"

 POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) “My Father’s House” has a new director.   Jeanette Triano Sinn brings a fresh set of eyes to "My Father's House" homeless center and she told Eyewitness News she has a lot of goals.

 

First on her agenda is to get showers at the center in Pottsville open to the homeless community.
About 15 homeless people go to the center daily.
At the center, they are able to get clothes, food and computer access.
 

"What we want to do is try to find them shelter. Help them find more permanent housing help them get jobs, sometimes they don't have drivers licenses or social security cards, help them obtain the sources they need to move forward and be successful." She told Eyewitness News.   

The shelter opened in fall 2015.
Until now, it's been operated by Albert Nastasi.
He has stepped down, and given the opportunity to the new director.
