Mocanaqua, Luzerne County -- Crews have cleared the scene of a fatal fire in Luzerne County.

State police said 52-year-old Michelle Dzoch died when her home caught fire Thursday.

She lived on Main Street in Mocanaqua with her daughter Holly and Holly's two sons. They made it out alive.

A neighbor said the roof collapsed before a good samaritan could rescue Dzoch. She said Dzoch helped her put out a fire at her own home last summer.

Three firefighters were treated on the scene for minor injuries. State police are trying to figure out if the fire was correctly dispatched. Neighbors said it took a long time for firefighters to get there.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
