In this latest crash, people familiar with this stretch of Route 611 told Eyewitness News it can be very dangerous.
Anna Mateau-Rivera, a Cresco resident, regularly travels Route 611 to and from work.
"(It) merges into one lane as you get closer to the bridge, the train overpass, and people tend to rush up there to try and beat the slower car up to that point," Mateau-Rivera said.
Stuckle said she's been urging officials to put a stoplight near the area. She believes it could prevent future tragedies.
"On a busy Friday night there's a lot of traffic," she said. "So you're not going to be able to go that fast through town. So hopefully that would help avert a problem like this."
Police have yet to release the names, or conditions, of the people involved in the crash.
