Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County-  A couple of king-sized parrots are the reason behind some commotion in a Wilkes-Barre neighborhood.
Two pet macaws managed to get loose this morning and have proven to be elusive.
The goal this morning for neighbors here in the 300 block of North Washington Street was to recapture the macaws safely.
One of the colorful birds managed to perch itself high in a tree.
The other meanwhile has been a bit more cooperative as neighbors try to safely get the macaws back to the person who had them in his care.
The two macaws with their loud screeching and squawking woke up several people.
