Hawley, Wayne County -- Anita Harsche works up a sweat every Wednesday, teaching this kickboxing class at Elite Martial Arts in Hawley.

This session is raising money for the family of Hunter Pedersen. The 10-year-old boy from Wayne County died earlier this month, after state police said a gun his uncle was showing him went off.

Everyone was asked to contribute $5 to the cause, but by the end of the night, this basket was overflowing with bills.

The community has already shown an overwhelming amount of support for the Pedersen family. This online fundraiser generated over $20,000 so far.

If you missed the kickboxing fundraiser, you can still make a donation at any Wells Fargo Bank.
