Christmas is just a couple days away so now's the time to think about what to serve for Christmas breakfast. We know we want it to be easy 'cause the last thing we want to do that day is make a big mess.  That's why we came up with a dish where we throw everything together, and come breakfast time, all we have to do is pop it in the oven. Let me show you. We cook some breakfast sausage in a skillet until it's no longer pink. After draining it, we spoon it over some frozen (or refrigerated) shredded hash browns and top that with cheddar cheese. We'll set that aside for a sec while we beat together some eggs, milk and a few basic seasonings. Once it's all mixed, we pour it over everything.  If we want, we could bake this off now and serve it right away, but let me tell you, it’s a whole lot easier if we make it ahead and pop it in the fridge overnight. Then on Christmas morning (or any morning) all you need to do is bake it for a hearty all-in-one breakfast casserole. And each layer is better than the next.
