High Speed Chase Ends in Arrest in Jim Thorpe

JIM THORPE, CARBON COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU-TV) A wild and violent high-speed chase in Carbon County ends with the arrests of two people.
Jim Thorpe police say it started when they spotted a stolen car.
When they tried to pull it over,
Police say that driver, Eric Pauloski, tried to strike an officer with the car. He then hit a parked car and kept going.
They say he later crashed the car,  then broke into a rafting center and stole several items.
Federal, state, and local police captured Pauloski Tuesday.

They also say at the same time they captured Christy Hartman as part of a drug investigation.
Both Pauloski and Hartman are behind bars on $200,000 bail.
