Collette Brandt walked into her brand new home.
Several years ago, she fell severing part of her spinal cord.
After therapy, she learned to walk again and needed a place to live.
Thanks to federal, state, and local agencies Collette bought a home in Lewisburg.
State grants have paid for it to become an energy efficient home and there is room for Collette and her therapy dogs.
The Union County Housing Authority was able to help 27 families move into homes with their last grant.
