According to Taylor's Dad, Taylor Russell has been released from the hospital tonight.
Frackville, Schuylkill County - 12-year-old Taylor Russell, from Frackville, should be okay.
Russell was swept into a storm drain Monday afternoon.
Firefighters said they were on second street in Frackville dealing with flooding issues when some of Russell's friends came running up to them, saying that she had been sucked into a stream on Arch Street.
Acting quickly firefighters immediately started to try to find her. They were able to eventually pull her to safety about a half a mile from where she went into the drainage pipe.
Russell had to be taken to Geisinger Medical Center near Danville, but was awake and talking at the time.
Neighbors were thankful on Tuesday to hear Russell is expected to be okay.
Firefighters who responded to the rescue say this should serve as lesson. That everyone needs to be careful around quick moving water.
"That's the best bet stay away from the water," Frackville Assistant Fire Chief, Bill Lindemuth, said. "Don't play in it. Don't drive through it. The best best is just to stay away."
Russell's father told Eyewitness News that his daughter suffered a few bumps and bruises.
