Getting Ready to Dance for a Good Cause THON

BRODHEADSVILLE, MORNOE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)  The largest student-run Philanthropic event in the world kicks off today in Centre County.
 
    The 46-hour dance marathon known as "thon" is happening at Penn State University from 6pm  Friday night until Sunday at 4pm.


     It raises money for the four diamonds fund, which is a program at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital that helps kids and their families with cancer

    Getting in on all of the fun and dancing the Pleasant Valley School District in Brodheadsville is hosting their own 'Mini Thon'  hoping to add another 30-thousand dollars to the fund.


    Younger students are participating at the Middle School during the day.
