BUSHKILL, PA: Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Superintendent John J. Donahue announced this afternoon that George W. Childs Recreation Site within the park will be closed for the day on Monday, April 28. Contractors from New England Environmental and Natureworks will apply herbicide treatments to several areas within the site during that period. The closure is intended to allow work to proceed safely. Signs will be posted and the gates will remain locked until Tuesday morning.
