     Here's what we are working  on for Eyewitness News for     September 4, 2014. 

    Very sad over the passing of Joan Rivers.  Saw her show several times- she was a very funny lady- I also love her clothing line-  Blessings.  We will have more on Joan Rivers life on Eyewitness News

     It was a nice day for the farmers market on Public Square!  I stopped by- bought some dandelion and Swiss chard....and now the big question in the Pod is how do I prepare them?   Maybe I will stop by the PA Live Kitchen-with my Swiss Chard in hand because chef from the Great Bear Golf Club  is  in the house!

   What is going on in Columbia and Montour Counties? Plenty- the new September Calendar of Events is on-line

   FUNFEST will host an end of the summer concert coming up this Saturday!! in downtown Hazleton.

    Guthrie Troy Community Hospital recently dedicated the chapel at the new hospital to David Morris, a long time board member who passed in February of this year.

  On PA LIVE -  PA Live is a bit different today- the first half hour of PA Live is the PA Live we know and love-
   The second half hour will be dedicated to previewing NBC's New Fall Shows!

On Eyewitness News at Five  Kirstin Cook is in for  Katherine   Lachette as your producer-

  The leaders of the LCTA will stand trial in the Ghost Riders investigation.  The I-Team's Andy Mehalshick traveled to Harrisburg  and will update his earlier story from 11 am and Noon

    Plus, the latest developments in the search for Paul Brown- who police say violently attacked his wife and son on Wednesday.  Laurie Monteforte will have our update

   Mark Hiller will have the story of a new documentary call "Truckin"- it will be presented by a staff member of the Indraloka Animal Sanctuary in Wyoming County.

 On Eyewitness News at 6 and 11 Kirstin Cook is in for  Lindsay Keeler  as your producer.      

            Police are investigating a fatal bicycle crash involving 7 year old from Troy, Bradford County.  Mark Hiller has the story.
