*The Wyoming Valley Veterans Day Parade Committee announced that this year’s Veterans Day Parade will be held on Sunday, November 5th. The parade will step off at 2:00PM from Kingston Corners, following Market Street to Public Square in Wilkes-Barre.

*The I-Team’s Andy Mehalshick will part of the panel at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania's Department of Mass Communication and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education   2017 Collegiate Media Summit on Nov. 4-5. The summit is open to all students who 11attend State System schools and schools from Pennsylvania and neighboring states.
The Collegiate Media Summit is a gathering of college students involved in the campus media. It features speakers and workshops from media professionals, both statewide and national. The summit offers students with a special interest in media relations the opportunity to learn about their prospective field and network with real-world professionals.

  King’s College Theatre Department will set the mood for their upcoming production of playwright John Patrick Shanley’s zany romantic comedy, “Italian American Reconciliation.“ Audiences can reserve a table in a restaurant-themed setting in the style of in a Little Italy, New York, complete with red-and-white checked tablecloths, candlelight, and breadsticks during performances scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9-11 and Nov. 16-18 and at 2 p.m. on Nov. 12 in the George P. Maffei II Theatre. 

 

On Saturday and Sunday, November 18th and 19th, the Waverly Community House will host its 34th Annual Artisans’ Marketplace proudly sponsored by the Waverly General Store.  The Artisans’ Marketplace showcases the area’s most talented artisans and craftspeople who will offer high quality, handmade, one-of-a-kind items just in time for the holidays.
