Friday kicks off with a tree lighting by Santa and Mrs. Claus at Peoples Security Bank, Tioga Street a little after 5pm with a live broadcast by WBRE-TV. Then the evening kicks off with Horse and Wagon rides, Trolley rides, Ice Carvings, entertainment, and Living Windows and other entertainment.

Marquia's friends at Pocono Mountain East Junior High started brainstorming.  Students bought raffle tickets for a chance to chop off their teacher's luscious locks. Mr. Beveridge hasn't cut his hair in two years!.
