Enjoy the Fine Arts Fiesta in Downtown Wilkes-Barre this Saturday and Sunday,  May 17th and 18th-  Enjoy the works of art by local artists!  Food, entertainment and plenty to see and do! Support the Arts!
 A program reminder- Pennsylvania Secretary of Revenue, Dan Meuser will be the featured guest on Newsmakers.  The monthly public affairs program is hosted by Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and the I-Team’s Andy Mehalshick.
  Secretary Meuser will discuss the financial state of the state.  He will also talk about pensions, the Natural Gas Industry, taxes and attracting businesses to the Commonwealth.  The benefits and future of Pennsylvania Lottery will also be discussed.  . Newsmakers will air on WBRE On Sunday May 18 at 11:30 am

On Saturday, May 17th, Honesdale High School’s Keep On Rockin’ Showcase will be held at The Cooperage at 1030 Main Street in Honesdale.  The showcase starts at 7 p.m. and goes until 10 p.m. This annual event is the chance for the students in Keep On Rockin’ to share their musical experience with the community.

On Thursday, May 29th 2014 Pottsville celebrates and remembers resident artist Dave Naydock. This one day celebration of Dave’s life and work will start with an ‘Open Gathering’ at the Greystone Restaurant followed by a gallery tour all within three city blocks to include, film at All Things Good, live music and ‘Dave Day Trivia’ at Hucklebucks, photography exhibit by close friend Jonathan Paroby and a special Found Object Show to honor Dave’s appreciation and vision for found objects.

The First Annual Bow Wow Bike Jam will be held on Saturday, June 28th.  The Proceeds will benefit Safe Haven Rescue and the Sanctuary at Haafsville.

  WOLF  has  a re-run of “Kitchen Nightmares” (defiant bakers) and “The Following” (from April)… While “Dateline Saturday Night Mystery” 8-10pm is a re-do of the “Bathtub Mystery” (man arrested 3 times for killing his new wife) (WBRE).  Comedy repeats 8-9pm on WYOU….. but “48 Hours” is new with an update on the death of a New Mexico couple----did the daughter or the mortgage broker kill them?  “SNL” has their season finale tonight----with Andy Samberg as host and St. Vincent as musical guest. 
Sunday, May 18, 2014- 
 “Animation Domination” --- from “Burgers” to “Family Guy” – all finales tonight…. And it’s the “4th of July” on “The Simpsons” (8pm) – WOLF.   
.  7pm on WBRE---a concert from “Cold Play”… the band does some of their hits and songs off their new album “Ghost Stories”…. While 9pm is an oldie but goodie, “The Women of SNL” ----clips of your fave dames of SNL-ness! 
“60 Minutes” has the story of trash turned into musical instruments (segment did not air last week), the refurbishing of The Capitol (DC) and a current report from inside Iran (7pm).
The “Race” ends tonight in Vegas---with a challenge by David Copperfield---and a winning team will be named…. Finally, on “The Good Wife”(finale) – will the 2 battling firms….MERGE?  That all WYOU.
