Program Reminder: A Special Edition of Newsmakers will air this Sunday, March 9th on WBRE and WYOU. Hosts Senior Producer Jayne Ann Bugda and PA Live Host Dave Kuharchik will take a closer look at the Natural Gas Drilling Industry in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. Bugda and Kuharchik will be joined by John Augustine, III, the Community Outreach Manager for the Marcellus Shale Coalition; Mark Volk, President of Lackawanna College and Brian Oram, a Geologist and principle with B and F Environmental Consultants. The panel will discuss questions and concerns surrounding natural gas drilling including health, safety, jobs and the benefits of natural gas. This special edition of Newsmakers will air Sunday, March 9th at 6:30 am on WYOU and 11:30 am on WBRE.
The I-Team’s Andy Mehalshick will be a guest speaker at the Scranton Parade Association VIP Dinner Sunday evening. The group will be announcing the Grand Marshal and other dignitaries for the parade. The Scranton Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is set for Saturday, March 15. If you can’t be there watch it live on WYOU-TV or right here streaming live on PAHomepage.com. Candice Kelly, Mark Hiller and Eric Deabill will be announcing the parade.
The Wilkes-Barre Saint Patrick’s Day parade is Sunday, March 16 at 2 pm
Don’t forget-The Greater Pittston Saint Patrick's Parade steps off Saturday, March 8th, at noon at the fork in the road in South Pittston. It will wind its way through the downtown before ending at Cooper's Waterfront on Kennedy Boulevard.
