The Lackawanna Historical Society will feature Railroad Perspectives, an exhibit by artist Claire Marcus. Railroad Perspectives is based on photographs taken at Steamtown National Historic Site and maps from the Lackawanna Historical Society collection. The exhibit will be on display through the end of March.
Marywood University celebrates National Catholic Sisters Week as part of Women’s History Month. The first-ever National Catholic Sisters Week, sponsored by an organization of the same name, will take place March 8-14, 2014, and will be recognized on Marywood’s campus with a prayer service on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at 6:30 p.m., at the IHM Center Chapel.
