  On June 19th, the Lackawanna Historical Society received a donation from Schiff's Food Service Inc. in memory of past Society president Alan Sweeney.

On Monday, June 9, 2014, the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce held its 13th Annual Golf Classic at the Frosty Valley Country Club in Danville.
With over 100 golfers, a full group of dedicated volunteers and beautiful weather, the golf tournament was a success! Proceeds helped to benefit the Young Americans Program.
Geisinger Health System recently introduced a new state-of-the-art, twin-engine American Eurocopter EC-145 to its existing fleet of Life Flight air ambulances. This is the fifth EC-145 helicopter in the Life Flight fleet, part of an ongoing commitment to provide the best quality critical care to residents in central and northeastern Pennsylvania.
